Inventory & Services


Total Service has an extensive inventory module that includes inventory items, warehouses, flat rates, services, tools and vehicles. You can track and manage every inventory item, vehicle and piece of equipment you own, so there is always a trail to follow.

Inventory

Total Service provides you with the tools to track detailed information about inventory items and organize them into warehouses. The items are immediately job costed when they are used and the system flags you when you are low on supply. The customer can be billed for the item based on price levels or percentage markup. You choose the method that is right for your company.

Inventory items can easily be organized into warehouses or technician's trucks. When you pull items from inventory, you can specify the warehouse. This procedure gives you more control over the items stored on each truck and the home office as well as aiding you in the restocking process.

Services

The Services Screen is where you specify the services available to your customers and the price you charge for each service. These items are added to the Accounts Receivable invoice when you bill the customer.

Each service is assigned to a general ledger account so you can analyze your sales instantly by viewing the income statement. From this information you can determine which type of service is the backbone of your operation.


Flat Rates

Total Service supports many flat rate pricing software including Callahan Roach, Maio, Profit Strategies and many more. You can even build your own flat rates and assemblies by combining your own services and inventory items.


Tools & Fleet Management

Total Service provides you with the means to track all of your tools, from wrenches to generators and compressors. You know where each item is located and which technician checked it out. Even if an item is located at a construction site for a year, you know which job. Tracking this information cuts down on lost tools and equipment which in turn cuts down on your expenses, making you more profitable.

A vehicle tracking system is also available in Total Service. You can keep detailed information on your fleet of vehicles, including past service history and upcoming maintenance appointments.
